aGent V3 Installation instructions for Apple MAC

1. Please place the aGent V3 CD into your CD drive or download the V3 webcam driver from here . Please note the aGent V3 is plug and play for OS10.4.3 and above so you may not need to install the driver, however the driver will provide you with additional features.
2. Open the CD folder and the Mac driver folder.
3. Click on the Sonix USB 2.0 PC Camera Driver .dmg file
4. A USB icon will appear on the left of the screen.
5. Then click on SN9C288 Series Webcam. This will install the program driver files.
6. Open the applications folder and find 'Webcam Monitor'. This will open the webcam image.

When using any chat program please ensure Webcam Monitor is shutdown.  You may need to restart the computer if webcam monitor is operating.

Skype for MAC

Installation Instructions for Skype for Apple MAC

1. Open Skype
2. Connect the aGent webcam directly to your computer (do not use a hub).
3. Position the webcam to suit your needs
4. Insert the microphone plug into the usb adaptor and plug directly into your computer usb port.
Step Two: Verify the aGent webcam for Skype Installation
1. If Skype is not running, start Skype.
2. In Skype, select Tools > Options.
3. Click Video.
4. Make sure that under Select Webcam, the Sonix SN9C201 is selected for use.
5. Click Test Webcam.

The minimum system requirements for Skype 2.0 for Apple Mac are a Mac OS X v10.3.9 Panther or newer, G4 800 Mhz and above, any G5 or Intel processor, 512MB RAM, 40 MB free disk space on your hard drive and a microphone.

Please make sure that webcam monitor is not running.
You may need to restart your computer after setting up the webcam in Skype for it to work correctly.

Please be sure, that your webcam is connected and not in use with another program..

Installation for iChat for Apple MAC

iChat requires a 3rd party software program to use USB webcams.  Please click here to download it.

PC

Installation for V3 for PC
1. Please insert the driver CD or download the driver file from this location:

2. Unzip the file to your local hard drive and click on the setup exe file.

3. Once installation is complete complete restart the computer and plug the webcam directly into the computer (not through a USB dock) as the computer is loading back up.

4. The computer should recognise that there is new hardware and search for the driver. Follow the instructions to automatically find the driver.

5. Click continue through all windows until installation is completely finished.

6.  Your webcam is now ready to use.
